I wonder whether it was the same school our local guide pointed out when we crossed the Arno ... she said to avoid it at the time school let out because of congestion of kids all jumping on their scooters and dashing and zooming away???? :-) :-) :-)
The Ponte Vecchio always reminds me of home :) I spent my Junior Year of College in Florence and had to cross the Arno every day on my way to class!
