Panama canal!

Today Blanca had some appointments and I did a solo tour to the Panama canal (Miraflores locks), the causeway (this time they said both sides were the Pacific which made more sense to me, otherwise why need a canal?), as well as the old Colonial center of the city.

There was only me and an American man getting in a tour on a 22 hour stopover.  He was fun and amusing.

The tour was, hummmm how to say it ? Unique.

They were not very polished and their English wasn't all that strong... Christopher called it 'very green', but was just going to go with the flow.

Th:-)ey were very nice.
We traveled on a rickety bus with essentially no air conditioning (very weak with some mounted fans also weak, to circulate the air:-)).

I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
