Last night a good friend of mine and I went to a backyard concert. Her husband wasn't into it but I think he may have enjoyed it had he joined us.
Bev has a work colleague whose daughter is in a band, styled on the close, 3 part harmony inspired by the work of the Andrew sisters - the "Jivin' Belles".
He hosted a back yard concert for them.
They performed vintage (even for aged me!) melodies designed to raise awareness and a bit of money.
It was great fun even if the music was not necessarily "madly me". They are talented young women, accompanied by the 'Jivin' boys'.
A very nice way to spend a warmish-coolish May evening!
This weekend I worked and worked and worked. Yes I did! Really.

Hair cut.
Physiotherapy appointment met.
Groceries purchased.
Groceries put away.

RE: Selfies - we're not doing too bad for 58 years old I think! However, I could be delusional. Donna and I have been friends since we were 14 years old.
